A Vicarage on Record!
Now the songs about life in the vicarage, which Geirr Lystrup wrote for OVF’s 200th anniversary last year, are being released as an album! He discovered a treasure trove of stories connected to the vicarage, and the music is available on all streaming services and CD.

Geirr Lystrup himself grew up at Vinje Vicarage, where he lived during the years when his father, Sigmund Lystrup, was the parish priest in Vinje in the 1950s. Geirr was commissioned to write a couple of songs about life at a vicarage for OVF’s 200th anniversary. It turned into nearly 30 songs. – I discovered a treasure trove of cultural history and faith when I began this work, says Lystrup.
