About Allstad

Allstad is one of Norway's largest landowners, with plots, forests and uncultivated land distributed across around 300 municipalities throughout Norway. The company is wholly owned by the state through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.

Allstad's dividends go to the Church Preservation Fund for churches of cultural and historical importance.

Who is Allstad?

Allstad was established in 2024 when the Opplysningsvesenets Fund was converted into a limited company. Since 1821, we have managed parsonages in Norway.

Our task is to manage and develop the properties owned by Allstad and create value for the community within sustainable frameworks.

Where do Allstad's dividends go?

What do we do?

  • We develop properties such as commercial buildings, care homes and new places to live and reside.

  • We manage parsonages, preserve culturally and historically important buildings and give them new life.

  • We offer leasehold plots, create value from forests and farmland, and facilitate outdoor activities, hunting and fishing.

  • We create renewable energy from water and the sun through our subsidiaries Geisli Energi and Clemens Kraft.
