Milestone for our development project in Sogndal

After almost three years of preparation and planning, Allstad and Einarsen Eigedom have submitted the planning initiative for the regulation of the so-called «Billag plot» in Sogndal.

The submission of the planning initiative marks an important milestone in the cooperation between the two companies. The planning initiative is also the result of good cooperation between the development company, Vestland County Municipality, Sogndal Municipality, Skyss, local residents and the local business community.

The project aims to transform a central block in the heart of Sogndal town centre, in the fruit-growing district, into an attractive area for both housing and commercial activities.

– The submission marks the starting point for an exciting process in which the current bus station will be developed into a vibrant and attractive urban space and transport hub, says Development Director Magnus Indrebø.

He looks forward to continuing to work with the authorities, business community and local residents to realise the potential of this site and create an important local meeting place and regional hub.
